to find home nursing care.

1. Create Your Account
Objective: Create an account to request home care services.
- Download CareDeal from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android)
- Open the application
- On the home screen, select "I'm looking for care" or "Patient"

- Select your country (Belgium +32 by default)
- Enter your phone number WITHOUT the leading zero
Example: If your number is 0478 12 34 56, type 478123456
- Press "Next"

- You will receive an SMS with a 6-digit code
- Enter this code in the application
- Press "Confirm"

- Your account is now active
- You can start using the application

2. Submit A Care Request
Objective: Create a request to find a home nurse.
- On the home screen, press the "+" button or "New request"

- Select the type(s) of care you need:
- Bathing assistance
- Wound care
- Injections
- Bandages
- Insulin therapy
- Infusion therapy
- Press "Next"

- Indicate how many times per day care is needed
- Press "Next"

- Enter the address where care will be provided
- Verify on the map that the location is correct
- Press "Next"

- Enter the information of the person who will receive care:
- First name (required)
- Last name (required)
- Date of birth (required)
- Email (optional)
- Select the language(s) spoken by the patient
- Press "Next"

- Indicate who is making this request:
- "Myself" if you are the patient
- "Family" if you are a family member of the patient
- "Friend" if you are a friend of the patient
- "Professional" if you are a social worker, caregiver, etc.
- Press "Next"

- If you are not the patient, you can add their phone number
- This number will allow nurses to contact them directly

- Review all information
- If everything is correct, press "Confirm"

- Your request has been created
- A message tells you how many nurses are available in your area
- Nurses will now be able to see your request and contact you

3. Track Your Request
Objective: See the status of your care request.
HOW TO:
- On the home screen, you see your current requests
- Press a request to see the details
Possible Statuses
[In progress] - Your request is active
- Nurses can see it
- Wait for a nurse to contact you
[Arranged] - Care is organized
- A nurse has been found
- Care is scheduled
[Cancelled] - The request has been cancelled
- You or the system cancelled the request
[Completed] - Care is finished
- The care has been completed
4. Mark A Request As Arranged
Objective: Indicate that you have found a nurse.
When To Do This
- When a nurse has contacted you and agreed to take care of you
- Or when you have found a solution by other means
HOW TO:
1. Open your current request
2. Press "Mark as arranged" or similar icon
3. Confirm your choice
4. The request changes to "Arranged" status
Why It'S Important
- This frees up the request for other patients
- Nurses will no longer contact you about this request
- You keep a history of your arranged requests
5. Cancel A Request
Objective: Cancel a care request you no longer need.
When To Do This
- You no longer need the care
- You made an error in the request
- Circumstances have changed
HOW TO:
1. Open your current request
2. Press "Cancel request" or trash icon
3. Confirm the cancellation
4. The request is deleted (no longer visible to nurses)
6. Frequently Asked Questions And Solutions
- Verify that you entered the correct number
- Wait a few minutes (the SMS may take time)
- Press "Resend code"
- Check that your phone is not in airplane mode
- Make sure you have network coverage
- You already have an account with this number
- Press "Log in" to access your existing account
- Check the spelling of the address
- Add the postal code and city
- Try a more general address (street name + city)
- Check that your request is in "In progress" status
- Your geographic area may have few available nurses
- Make sure your phone number is correct
- Be patient - nurses regularly check new requests
- It is not possible to modify an existing request
- Cancel the current request
- Create a new request with the correct information
- Check your internet connection
- Close and reopen the application
- Update the application from the store
- Restart your phone
- If the problem persists, contact support
